On Sept 12, 2019, Mechanical Plastics, Inc (MPI) was officially acquired by Piedmont Plastics. MPI will continue business in the same capacity it has for more than 25 years, providing unparalleled distribution, fabrication, machining, and assembly services to its customers, but now as an additional Piedmont Plastics branch location. This change will only improve MPI’s capabilities, by utilizing Piedmont’s extensive product inventory and support network

Laser Services

We offer an array of laser services and can cut a variety of substrates (including foam) as large as 4 x 8 foot. In addition to cutting, we can also etch plastic - whether it's text on a machine guard or your business logo on an interior LED sign, if you can provide the art work, we'll make it come to life!

CNC Routing

Our routing capabilities allow us to rout sheets as large as 5 x 10 foot. Our team of highly detailed CNC programmers can use your drawings or DXF files to generate any parts you may need. We can also work from existing parts (such as old machine guards, boat windows, you name it!), as well as cardboard patterns etc. In addition to accurate cutting within thousandths of an inch, our routers can also engrave and carve.

Additionally, we have the ability to rout wood and some metals. We work with everyone - whether you're an engineer from a Fortune 500 company or a hobbyist, we'll make sure your parts get produced quickly and accurately!
